I was recently outstation and my college and trilled to visit the bakun project. When i get into the bakun, it is out of my shock , the saiz of bakun was out of my estimated size and the area is approximately equal to the area of the whole Sibu city. I am standing like a small ant if i really standing above the bakun. Therefore, these photo were secretly taken by my college and i wish to share to my friend.




Behind the mountain is the level of active flown river, so can you image that the white lorry in the photo is looking like an ant , -3000x smaller compare to the whole area.
I was thinking if the said hidro explodes , what will happen to my old town Sibu? Definitely it will be like Sodo city which disappeared into the river.



When I saw the model of the whole project, the topology of the model is showing the whole image of the hydro. It is really amazing and exciting. That is really great, so enormous and i believe that it will be a world of record hydro project.


When the project is become realistic, the water was pumped into the tunnel and pass it through the power turbo to generate the high voltage electricity. I search on net and getting the info that the electricity energy provided by the Bakun hydro can supply fully to the whole industries thorough the Japan city.



When i saw one of the tunnel, can u imagine how big is it, i think it can beat the Niah and Mulu's Cave, is it?


Then one will saw how the china workers put their efforts to build the basement , i really wonder China people are the champion Homosapiens, nothing is difficult to them if u give them the money. Their humanity slogan is, "Money is the motive power."


After the turbo, and the water will be blown out through these drains to the other side of river.

The project engineer was convincing there will be fourfold protections of the hydro, so there is no worries on the explode as those old people said.

Finally, the last photo was the scariest; c clearly and can you count the numbers of the hills , do u know what will happen to them after the use of the bakun project?



small hills will disappear and what u c will see just a lake as the sketch below.

I was making the joke, if any terrorist wish to take down Sarawak is a easy job, just drop the first bomb at Bakun Hydro, and he will able to demolish 30 % areas of the whole sarawak. Hahaha....
